George founded Instreet in 2007 and is the Managing Director, with overall responsible for managing Instreet’s strategy, product development, sales and marketing activities. He has extensive experience in product strategy, portfolio and risk management, and regulatory compliance.

George has consulted to start-up hedge fund managers both in Australia and internationally and is a regular presenter at finance industryforumsandSkyBusiness.
He has also written books and tertiary courses regarding the use of financial instruments and products.

George holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Phaedon Vass is a media, entertainment and online practitioner who has been active across a diverse range of roles and environments for the last 23 years. He commenced his career in the industry as an investment manager for the Australian Film Finance Corporation and held subsequent senior positions at a range of entities including Accenture's media and entertainment practice, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, FOXTEL, and Macquarie Bank. As a consultant and advisor he has worked with a wide range of high profile entities such as Australian Capital Equity, the Australian Film Commission, Beyond Limited, Mushroom Pictures, New South Wales Film & Television Office, and Screen Australia among others.

Most recently Phaedon was engaged from start-up phase as the Executive Director of the Tadreeb Training Academy for the Abu Dhabi Media Zone Authority (twofour54), a state of the art facility, that included the BBC and Thomson Reuters as its anchor partners in addition to leading the acquisition of the SAE Dubai campus which greatly expanded its capabilities to include fully accredited diploma and degree based offerings.

Phaedon has been involved in a range of learning and training initiatives since 2000. He has been a key contributor to the Centre for Screen Business, in addition to other engagements for the Australian Film Television & Radio School. Phaedon was also CEO of online learning start-up, Redapple Education launching skwirk.com, Australia’s first curriculum specific interactive website for the K-12 market.

James Dunn is a freelance finance journalist and media consultant. Prior to moving to freelance in 2001, James worked at BRW Media from 1988 to 1999. At BRW Media, James wrote for Personal Investment (subsequently Personal Investor) and BRW, and was editor of SXJ (Stock Exchange Journal) from 1993 to 1996, before becoming founding editor of Shares magazine, at which James oversaw one of the most successful magazine launches in Australia.
James also wrote for The Age and Management Today, and was subsequently personal investment editor at The Australian (1999) and editor of financial website, investorweb.com.au (1999-2001). James went freelance in September 2001. His first book, Share Investing for Dummies, was published by John Wiley & Co. in September 2002: a second edition was published in March 2007, and a mini-version, Getting Started in Shares for Dummies, followed in March 2008.
